Who and What is this...Pickles in the Park?

Hello, My name is Jessie Brugger. I am the daughter of Richard Brugger. My Father has been writing his memoirs for the last 10 years. Recently he has had to spend some time in the hospital and a rehabilitation center because of some health issues. Over the last month and a half, my father has been dictating to me the final chapter of his memoir. Its been the most enriching experience, and I feel very lucky to have this opportunity to spend time hearing my fathers' stories. I am currently in Brooklyn, New York, and he is in Federal Way, Washington. It is hard for me not to be near my family, My Mother and Brother are there by him and Incredible supporters of my Dad. My Father and I talk every morning on the phone as i wake up and make a coffee... i call him, hoping I wont wake him up, but knowing he doesnt sleep well..i give it a shot. I decided to start this blog because; as my dad is dictating to me the final chapter of his book, I hear so many other funny stories along the way that wont necessarily be in the book. This blog is about my dad, his life, his stories, and his experiences. I hope you enjoy this blog and eventually the book, Pickles in the Park, a memoir by Richard Brugger.
